Immunologic reactions involving sperm cells and preimplantation embryos.

چکیده
Evidence that sperm cells share or impart antigenic specificities to fertilized ova and cleaving embryos in animals was first demonstrated indirectly in female animals isoimmunized against sperm or testis cells. While early studies often gave conflicting results, postfertilization infertility effects were occasionally reported. The systematic analysis in animals of anti~ertility e~ects after immunization with sperm or testis preparations resulted in a clearer delineation of the affected stages and modes of action. In a study of the effects of antisperm antisera on the fertility of sperm in rabbits, Kiddy et al. reported t~~t a dilution of serum that permitted near-normal fertilization rates resulted in significantly lowered levels of embryo survival.f Isoimmunization offemale ani~alswi~h sperm or testis preparations has often produced mcon~Is tent results regarding the degree and stage at which infertility occurs; however, studies in which antifertility

I-37: Genome Instability and DNA Damage in Male Somatic and Germ Cells Expressed as Chromosomal Microdeletion and Aneuploidy Is A Major Cause of Male Infertility
Background: Sperm chromatin insufficiencies leading to low sperm count and quality, infertility and transmission of chromosomal microdeletion and aneuploidies to next generations can be due to exposure to environmental pollutions, chemicals and natural or manmade ionizing radiation. In this project which has continued for more than 10 years and is unique in many technical aspects in Iran and in...
متن کاملThe Effect Of Vero Cells on Preimplantation Mouse Embryo in Cultur Medium
SUMMARY To study the effect of vero cells on preimplantation mouse embryos two groups of experiment were carried out. In experiment 1, pronuclear stage mouse embryos were co-cultured with Vero cells in RPMI medium and were examined under microscope for 4 days with 24h interval. The results showed co-cultured group developed better compared to control (87% to 80%, P<0.05) although, the rate ...
متن کاملSperm-borne miRNAs and endo-siRNAs are important for fertilization and preimplantation embryonic development.
Although it is believed that mammalian sperm carry small noncoding RNAs (sncRNAs) into oocytes during fertilization, it remains unknown whether these sperm-borne sncRNAs truly have any function during fertilization and preimplantation embryonic development. Germline-specific Dicer and Drosha conditional knockout (cKO) mice produce gametes (i.e. sperm and oocytes) partially deficient in miRNAs a...
متن کاملI-13: Transcriptome Dynamics of Human and Mouse Preimplantation Embryos Revealed by Single Cell RNA-Sequencing
Background: Mammalian preimplantation development is a complex process involving dramatic changes in the transcriptional architecture. However, it is still unclear about the crucial transcriptional network and key hub genes that regulate the proceeding of preimplantation embryos. Materials and Methods: Through single-cell RNAsequencing (RNA-seq) of both human and mouse preimplantation embryos, ...
متن کاملTriple colour fluorescent in-situ hybridization for chromosomes X,Y and 1 on spare human embryos.
The potential for implantation of human embryos obtained by in-vitro fertilization is presumably determined to a large extent by their chromosomal constitution but cytogenetic analysis of preimplantation embryos has been hampered by a number of practical and technical problems. With the advent of fluorescent in-situ hybridization (FISH) a practical method for numerical chromosomal analysis has ...
